Misc	This is a public facility that allows RC flying. Open 8 a.m. to dusk during summer season (May 1 through November 30). You must have either AMA, SMA, or proof of home owner's insurance covering RC vehicals. You can buy a single day pass the day you want to fly, but if you want to fly on a weekend you'll need to buy it ahead of time because the office is closed weekends. Passes usually get mailed the same day they receive the form by fax or mail so you should have it in 1-2 days.
Runways	The field is 11 acres, rectangular in shape, and oriented East-West / North-South, which makes it very suitable for morning flights.

Directions	From Highway 61, follow 1st Avenue (under Hastings / Mississippi Bridge) West past Regina Hospital. It will turn into County Rd 42 just outside of town. Follow Cty Rd 42 West to Idell Avenue (a sign reading "Dakota County Spring Lake Park - Schaars Bluff" marks this intersection). Go North on Idell to the entrance to the flying site parking lot ( a gate is just beyond this entrance, so vehicles must turn into the Flying site lot) From Highway 52, follow Highway 55 East about 4 miles to the County 85 (Goodwin Avenue)-Co Rd 42 - Highway 55 intersection. Follow Co Rd 42 East about 2 miles to Idell Avenue.
