The John J. Verstrate Memorial R/C field, one of the finest R/C flying fields in the state, is located in Cottage Grove, Minnesota on County Rd. 19, 6.2 miles south of Interstate 94. It is a private field located on a 35 acre site owned by 3M. There are three 50' x 250' asphalt runways, an asphalt pit area, two asphalt taxiways, a covered shelter area and a maintenance garage.
