Intro:
This page is like an invintory of the hardware, software, and usage of my computer.

Hardware   Eric's Workstation
Motherboard: SuperMicro - P5MMS with Intel TX chipset / GUI Ami Bios / 512K Cache / 64 MB SDRAM.
Proccessor: Intel - Pentium 200 MMX with bus overclocked to 75 Mhz which gives a 233 (75 x 3) cpu speed.
Mass-Storage: Maxtor - 1.6 GB EIDE (pdf link)

Controlls: Some Shitty Generic 101 Key Keyboard.
Microsoft - Standard 2 button mouse.
Microsoft - Sidewinder 3D Pro joystic.
Modem: US Robotics - Sportster Internal 56K x2.
Network: LinkSys - ISA 10-Mb ethernet combo 10 base-t / thin-coax. (I use the rj45) I bought the card as part of a kit.
US.Logic 10mb 8-port ethernet hub
General Instrument SB1200 Cable Modem for T1 speed download rates. It rocks!

Brief description: Pentium 166 Non-MMX with 64 megs of EDO ram; 8X CDROM; 2.4G Hdd; 10mb Ethernet; Sony Multiscan 15" monitor (nice!); Diamond 33.6 Voice Modem; Creative SB32; MS Natural Keyboard; MS Wheel Mouse; Diamond Monster 3D; Diamond 3d2000 4-meg and is shareing a HP Deskjet 670c printer.

Brief description: Pentium 120 (soon to be a 200 non mmx) with 24 Megs FPM ram, Adaptec 2940 SCSI Controler, Plextor SCSI 6X Cdrom, Mitsumi 4x IDE CDrom, HP CD Writer Plus (rewritable) 8100, 2G Hdd, 14" Daytek monitor @ 800x600 75mhz; Natural Keybd (ms immatation; Creative SB32; USR 33.6; LinkSys 10mb Ethernet; US.Logic 10mb Ethernet (use two ethernet cards to create a gateway with IP Masqorading so that all 3 computers can be on the net at the same time without having to configure each workstation with proxy information. Also supports internet games like Quake etc...)

WebFerret for searching multiple search engines at one time using the windows Find menu as a interface.
Wingate for using 1 phone line to hook up more than one computer to the internet. (proxy)
Winroute for using 1 internet connection to connect an entire LAN to the internet without the need to set up each workstation. Acts as a gateway to the internet even if you only have 1 legal IP address by performing NAT (network address translation)
